Notes: This game was licensed by the MLB so they were authorized to use the names and statistics of real players but it does not appear to be licensed by the MLBPA to use player likenesses. The game is played by attaching bar code stickers to baseball cards and running the card through a scanner to use the actual statistics of the player to help determine the play outcome.

The game also came with a set of 24 baseball cards for star players from the late 1980s, many of whom are now in the Hall of Fame. The back of the card has a designated area for the bar code sticker. Game players are also encouraged to affix the bar code stickers to their own cards.

The package of bar codes has statistics for over 100 players, using their 1988 statistics.

The NL player cards included are: Bobby Bonilla, Will Clark, Andre Dawson, Kirk Gibson, Dwight Gooden, Orel Hershiser, Tim Raines, Nolan Ryan, Ryne Sandberg, Benny Santiago, Ozzie Smith and Darryl Strawberry.

The AL player cards included are: Wade Boggs, George Brett, Jose Canseco, Roger Clemens, Dennis Eckersley, Carlton Fisk, Don Mattingly, Paul Molitor, Kirby Puckett, Alan Trammell, Frank Viola and Dave Winfield.
